Motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death and injury around the world. Crashes on and off the job have far-reaching financial and psychological effects on employees, their co-workers and families, as well as, their employers.
The objective of ICRS Corporate Awareness Raising Programme is to provide the organization's employees with a wide comprehensive road safety understanding by exposing staff to the "bigger picture" of traffic accidents that goes beyond mastery of traffic rules and the basic mechanisms of driving. Its aim is to increase the awareness among ALL company staff in road safety related issues, to become better road users wherever they are, by anticipating dangerous situations, despite adverse conditions or the mistakes of others.
All sessions are delivered with innovative state-of-the-art simulators complemented with advance educational methodologies of group facilitations.
Outcomes:
Upon completion of the workshops it is expected that all staff will demonstrate:
- Understanding the fundamentals of road safety and the ‘Decade of Action 2011-2020’.
- A better understanding of the road safety and injury prevention concepts.
- Increased awareness towards risks and hazards as road users.
- A responsible and accountable attitude to self, other road users and the community at large.
- How to minimize distractions and stay focus while driving.
- To obtain better understanding of the risks associated with alcohol, drugs, fatigue etc.
Who is the course suitable for?
ALL company staff! Road Safety concerns all of us! Be it pedestrians, passengers, two wheelers, cyclists or professional drivers. Road's risks and hazards apply to each and every one of us. ICRS will deliver tailor made workshops according to your needs and requirements; in your workplace or out in the field if necessary.
We also offer companies the opportunity of developing safe driving and road safety activities as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) portfolio.

- Road safety in a “Decade of Action 2011-2020”
- Traffic psychology - Bad Driving, “What are we thinking?” (The fascinating science of driver psychology)
- Responsible and accountable attitudes to self, other road users and the community at large
- Tiredness and fatigue while driving, time reaction and stopping measurements and distracted driving
- Know your drinking habits
